Necropolis of Makli and Shah Jahan Mosque

Thatta

We went to Thatta on a day trip from Karachi. Thatta is located ca 100 km east of Karachi, near the large delta of the Indus river. It was the capital of the Sind region from the 14th to the 17-18th century and is home for the Unesco world heritage listed Necropolis of Makli and the beautiful Shah Janan Mosque. Also the drive to go there was an experience.
