You have a fantastic blog! I wish you all the most splendid adventures, good weather and great food.

ps: I miss you at the Italian class, Malene!

    Your classmate Vibeke

    • whereistheyak

Thank you Vibeke!!! Just a few hours ago we finally got our car so now we are very happy and ready to go!
I am afraid my Italian is going rapidly down hill….now when we start driving we have to practice!

Gian Marco, fatti valere! Io e Bruzzone ti abbiamo ricordato a Londra

  • Lucio

    • whereistheyak

Grande Albertone! Tu? Come è andata a Baires?

      • Lucio

  • Lucio

GM, mandami qualche commento sulle montagne canadesi. Sono belle come dicono? Simili alle nostre dolomiti?

    • whereistheyak

Che dire…sono le Dolomiti elevate alla 10ma! Grandi, belle, ghiacciate! 🙂

    Hi Malene,
enjoyu British Columbia, some really breath taking views no doubt.

  • Corie

Hallo Frau Hein, amazing, Euer Trip! Einfach traumhaft, der Plan! Ich wünsche eine gute Reise and that everything works out well and safe! 🙂
    Hello from Germany!

    • whereistheyak

Hallo Cornelia :))))))) super geil to hear from you 😉 it has been toooooo long!!! We are meeting a lot of Swiss and Austrian people here, it seems to be the place to emigrate to if you are finding the alps too crowded 😉 I hope all is well with you!!! Malinka

  • rob

Giammarco, thanks for the beautiful pictures from the BC . We dream with you. In winter time is even better I was there 2 times for ski mountaineering in the Selkirk Mountain with SME. 4 mt of real powder. Enjoy

    Giacomo – KPO

    • whereistheyak

Thanks Giacomo! This is our purpouse, to make you dream!
Now just came back from a fantastic climbing of Wedge Mountain in Garibaldi Provincial Park. Skis and crampons. Unbelievable! Due to late snow season, we did’t find for sure the 4m of real powder you found but we enjoyed a lot! Now recovering for the climb of Mt. Reinier in the Cascade Mountains close to Seattle.
      Let’s continue the dream!

    Hi kids (…)

I am in awe! Had I known that I sat next to a dare-devil mountain klimber in my italian-class (and her Italian) I would have been more respectful… Did I see a dog in one of your pictures – a dog etaing a lot of “amburgers”?? Do let me know. I have signed up for the next season of Italien, and I will be missing my help-mate!

    All my best wishes

    Vibeke

    • whereistheyak

Vibeke! I am missing our Italian lessons! Now we are too lazy or too busy to practice Italian, so I am forgetting everything……
The famous dog is Freddie! We will have to post some pictures of him soon, you are right, he is not getting enough exposure! 😉
      Kærlig hilsen!

  • rob

Everybody at the HMC still follows you! We love your adventures and the pictures are amazing!

  • Giacomo Tognoli

    GianMarco,

Aksai is following you. It seems to us you are a little faster. There is the risk you will come back to work earlier. Please not do it ! Yes, the motobike is a illness for me. I’m dreaming to follow your footprint , but with two wheels only. Take care . Giacomo and WEOPs team

    • whereistheyak

😉 weare carrying Aksai Team with us…actually on our car we have only 3 stickers with 3 flags: Italian, Danish and Kazak!
We are going fast in order to arrive in Argentina by Jan 2013 to climb Aconcagua (6.962 mt)…work can easily wait…after Americas we’ll relax a bit more and we might think to travel thru South East Asia and Africa!
If you’ll decide to leave with you KTM it will be one of the best experience of your life 😉 we’ll support you!!

  • Helen Cromie

Malene! I just got back from Belize-Guatemala yesterday. I just missed you it seems… We weren’t able to climb Acatenango because of the eruption, so very jealous! Enjoy your trip. Take care! 🙂

    • whereistheyak

Hi Helen! Aaah how fun it could have been to bump into you in Antigua!!! We loved Guatemala and the Fuego eruption was just a perfect farewell 😉 we were lucky to climb Acatenango just the day before! I will check for your pictures on FB… Say hello to all 🙂

  • federica

Hi Malene, congratulations for your pictures, they are amazing! I follow your trip with enormous interest because Central and South America is my favourite part of the world. I hope I will visit one day with my daughter to show her how different and beautiful is life overthere.
A hug to you and Marco, federica

      Kære Marianne og Thomas
Tusind tak for julehilsenen!
